Sparkplug cleaning.. do or don't?
Well as I'm sure you'll recall, I've had a O2 sensor issue cauing Hondata to drown my motor in fuel. I've already gone an ordered a new O2, what I'd like to know is it is a wise/unwise idea to clean plugs? See I just changed these plugs like 2 weeks ago, yet after changing them, I checked them 2 days later when my bad idle reoccured and they were already jet black.. I mean BLACK!
It'd be ashamed to have to ditch such new plugs, so I wanted to know if anybody here has cleaned their plugs and if so, what should I use?

Just use a toothbrush on them. No solvent or anything. Just take the black buildup off. There will still be some black coloring from the carbon left on the porcelain, but that will go away once the plug has a chance to heat up and run properly granted that you take care of the overrichness. Try to use a medium or hard brissle toothbrush on them. The soft ones don't work too well.
Yes, I've done it, yes it works...

i have used sand paper. a light sand paper. my dad has this little sand blasting machine made for spark plugs and that seems to work fine also.

dang dude... if that's the case, i would investigate other issues... like fuel delivery. i change mine about once a month.. which i THOUGHT was excessive.
