Default Spark plugs...

Hey guys,
My friend emailed NGK asking about a recommended plug. They said "You can use the BKR7EIX-11 stock number 6988." Are these the same as BKR7E? I looked at sparkplugs.com, and they have BKR7E, but not the other one. Is the Stock number the same as the referance number? We both have turbo cars...so I was gonna get some new plugs too. From search I have heard BKR7E are good is that true? I have a MSD Digi 6 ign. w/ ss coil..and NGK wires.
Thanks!!
Josh

yes the bkr7e's are good for turbo because they are two steps colder than normal. I believe the majority of people use them for their turbo cars.as far as part #'s and if they are the same, you will have to contact ngk again on that.
