Default spark plugs

hey guys does it really matter on the spark plugs you would use for boost
because i hear you need to use a colder plug if so what kind cause i only use denso or ngk but i generally use the denso iridiums and i would think those would be the best because i see car that make 600 hp and they use the iridiums as well
so to all the boosted guys out there just looking for advice on a plug to use and if it matter on a colder plug verses a hotter plug.

i dont know if this will help, it is taken from sparkplugs.com.

An unaltered engine will run within the optimum operating range straight from the manufacturer, but if you make modifications such as a turbo, supercharger, increase compression, timing changes, use of alternate racing fuels, or sustained use of nitrous oxide, these can alter the plug tip temperature and may necessitate a colder plug. A rule of thumb is, one heat range colder per modification or one heat range colder for every 75–100hp you increase. In identical spark plug types, the difference from one full heat range to the next is the ability to remove 70°C to 100°C from the combustion chamber.

general rule of thumb is 1 step colder per 70-100+hp over stock.

sparkplugs.com - bkr7e or bcpr7es are good ones to start off with.
