Default Spark PLug Gap?

I read somewhere on this board that the wrong gap can cause Misfiring after 5psi of boost. is this true?

My setup:
JDM B18C
Greddy GSR Turbo Kit
plugs gapped at .04 NGK heat range 7

I was using NGK laser Platinums gapped at .03 earlier and it ran fine, just wanted some input before i pulled the plugs. I though some wires may have come loose.

Try gapping them at .03 to .035. I personally don't use platinum plugs, I don't know how others feel. I normally use NGK BCPR7ES-11 for low boosted cars.

hmmm... methinks .03 seems to be the magic number. I figured that since i was using a Crane Ignition System it would be able to jump the larger gap. I guess the High compression and boost wouldn't have any part of it

Thanks for the input guys
