Spark plug gap

Spark plug gap
My ngk's came today.. what should i gap them at? Ive heard people say .25-.30 but that seems small.. i pulled my old ones out that my mechanic changed awhile ago when i was na and they were gapped at like .60 (black as hell to when i pulled them) the ngks out of the box are set at .40

u need a smaller gap for boosted cars, or else u will blow out the spark
normally around 28-32 is where u wanna be, but then again, depends on how much boost your running, if running like 8-10 pound .28 is kew
