Default Spark Plug Choice

OK I don't know much about sparkplug tech. I currently run NGK R5671A-7 spark plugs (0.032 gap) as recommended by SFP and another friend of mine. My friend was saying for FI applications it's best to use a plug where the electrode does not stick out past the ledge of the spark plug (hope I'm describing it right). I always see people running BCPR7ES-11's (which I originally was going to use) as well and haven't really heard anything bad about them. My current plugs are very black and I was considering changing them out for the track this weekend.

My question is... would i be alright switching to the BCP's or should I stick to the R's? I have a set of each so i figured i'd probably give the BCPs a try but i don't have a dyno in my back yard to see which one makes more power hehe, I just wanna know which would be better for my setup (6-8psi as it is right now on a t3 turbo)

The S designates that it has a V-groove in the ground electrode. The lack of an S means the ground electrode is flat. Other than that, they are identical.
