FYI the knock off manifolds flow like ****. Get a real spa if you plan to make any real power and have a healthy sleeved motor with aftermarket cams. Stock motor should be ok on the knock off with lower power level goals. We're seeing 37-38 psi back pressure at 20 pounds of boost on the knock off and it's doing some really weird **** to the way it runs. Crazy spark blow out. Very late vtec point and super lazy turbo response.

Didn't have this issue with the actual spa manifold but in looking at the knock off the placement of the turbo is the same but the rest of the manifold is different. The runner design and shape is terrible for making bigger power. I wouldn't recommend these to anyone looking to make more than a few hundred hp with stock cams and a bigger turbine housing and wheel to compensate

I seem to remember there being an adapter flange that "twisted" the D series back into position. Maybe use that on the B series manifold, and that'd give you the twist you want?

I sell the clocking flanges. It works on both b/d manifolds. It's a t3 clocking flange. Really you could use it on any manifold

Im surprised to hear the knock off top mounts dont have the same runner size and collector etc, any testing or measurements taken or was that simply as seen by eye? There are some D16 knockoffs on ebay for $100 I wanted to buy one for shlts and giggles and try and fit it in a Crx. If it doesnt flow nearly as good as the one sold on there site, I may reconsider

It's very obvious to my eye the design is different. I've had experience with several spa manifolds. It's blatantly different. The runner angle and how it flows isnt designed well. Basically the turbo placement is the same the rest is different. The runners on the spa have a nice angle and the collector are is smooth and swoops back up. The knock off the runner angle is different they kind fire at a wall instead of smooth flowing

Looking for a real one my self. Not paying 510 for the one on eBay that's selling new. That's obsurde for a cast manifold. 395 was even a lot

Yeah, probably. Ive been watching them since they came out. Always been thinking about the design and how it would work on my road course / streetcar. You are the only person that Ive heard of with real experience. Should have got one a longtime ago.

years later, here i am putting together an ac/ps eg b18c t3/t4 with clocking flange. turbo does not clear the hood. i really dont want to cut the hood but that looks like it may be my only option.
