Default Sorry another clutch question

Which clutch can hold the power and still last as long as a stock clutch (normal driving)?

I have about 230hp and 170tq and been having problems with the clutch holding my power (spring popping out of the clutch disk), I was thinking about the titlon single metal clutch but they told me their clutch disks need to be replaced before 15000 miles of normal driving.(more if I really abuse it, ie drag or road race)

Which clutch do you all run? I am looking for one that can take the abuse (not slip/break) of 8000rpm launches without popping springs out and have decent clutch life when driven on the street.

Why do you need to do 8k clutch drops?

That's a lot of uneeded abuse to the clutch.

LSDmotorsports.com carries nice clutches that have had little to no problems. Not to mention their prices are very reasonable.

Cause I bog on slicks if I launch any lower.

your running slicks on 230hp? and 176wt? JESUS! what do those slickes take off your et? .00001 of a second? oh my bad i forgot that you break the clutch when you do that. just run street tires and drop the revs... you will then stop breaking clutches and get better et's.

With all that aside

well if you get a higher stage clutch and you do a 8k clutch kick on drag slicks your going to break something expensive. like Axles. transmission housings - differentials.

If I run street tires either I spin the crap out of them during launch OR after the weak launch without spinning the tires-->VTEC switch over and the street tires spin till redline

Slicks take off almost a second and half for me because Im not spinning the tires.
