well i'm trying to do this project on a budget but we'll see where it goes...the motor is a d16y7..

vitara pistons (flame on)
dsm 450s

hf mani with adapter plate
i'll be running crome
probably upgrading clutch undecided which one
still have to get my charge pipes and BOV maybe dsm or a ebay knockoff
still got to get 2.5" exhaust done with manaflow muffler and cat and downpipe
steathmode oil line
arp head studs
planning on eventually boosting 10psi but we'll see where that goes i want to hit 300 to the wheel by the end of summer but maybe with this setup i'll be happy with 240...any precautions or anything i'm missing??

Just upgrade to a full 3" downpipe and exhaust, you won't regret it. I don't, especially after running a 2.38" exhaust for so long. 
I run a Magnaflow SS muffler (#14834), 18" mild steel resonator & piping, 3" Magnaflow high-flow cat (#94109) and 3" downpipe with flex section. Pretty quiet if you ask me.
Also for the clutch, ACT HDSS any day of the week.
