Default Some pics of my SC50 ZC setup...

Well I got my LoveFab manifold a couple of day's ago and was able to mount the new turbo for the first time. If all goes as planed I should be done within a month or so (money issues...It's always money issues ).

EDIT: There are new updated pics on the 2nd page...

Setup will consist of:

- Precision SC50 with .63 turbine
- LoveFab SST mani
- Tial 38mm HP (I was going to use a 40mm but had to switch because of clearance issues)
- Tial BOV
- 2.5" to 3" dp
- 2.5" IC piping
- (still need to buy) Full-Race intercooler
- Stock internal ZC
- ZC trans with Quaife
- ZDyne with 450 DSM's.

Well I'm hoping for around 250 hp at the track at most with the Stock engine. With this setup I "should" be able to hit that at around 12psi.

My Built ZC won't be done until next year, but will be aiming high to break 400whp.

The built ZC will consist of:

89 ZC block
RS sleeves
78mm JE's
Pauter Rods
ACL bearings
New pumps, gaskets, seals...ect.
Endyn ported/polished Head
Web Valve springs
Custom made SS valves
Crower ReGrind cams

looks very nice, did you have to tell jimfab if you were running a 92-95 radiator? is web cam going to be able to sell the valvesprings off the shelf or were they custom? I was going to get the sidewinder for my zc, to keep the mrs happy but, screw it, that looks sweet.

I wasn't aware at the time that you could ask for the JimFab modded for the Civic rad, so mine is just plain. I'm pretty sure that Web will have to custom make the springs.

hahah...Yeah Cody's work is awsome for the price! I highly reccomend him (if you can stand in line )

I also must comment that mounting large performance objects in a tiny CRX bay SUCKS! I've ran into so many clearance problems (40mm wastegate, now the intercooler, DP clearing the front engine mount...I digress).

The full-race intercooler doesn't fit either? Is that why you went with a 2.5 dp flared to three instead of a full 3 inch dp? Do you know if you have to send webcams your springs for them to make custom units for you?

Hehe, similar to my proposed setup. still waiting on my manifold, getting ready to buy the turbo and the intercooler. just wondering if my 450cc's can push the power up to 350whp right now.

No. I am selling my current IC so I can get a Full-Race. My current IC has side outlets and with the turbo mounted like this, the charge piping was pretty much impossible to get from the turbo to IC. I may go with a full 3" dp, but I'm sure that the radius of the bends will be tight enough. If not, I will do a 2.5" flare to 3" dp.

I'm not really sure on the springs man. I've focused all my current efforts on getting the turbo setup done. I just have a freind here in Colorado that has them in his ZC.

No. The 450's will max out pretty damn fast. For 350-400 Your gonna need 720's.

I'm running an extra think Absoulte Radiator Civic rad, With a perma-cool fan. I am currently saving my penies so I can get my hands on a Full-Race IC.

That is why I am selling my 40mm Wastegate. With the studs mounted in the manifold, I didn't have enough room to get the WG on. I'm going with a 38mm HP which will fit perfect.

Just a question. Why a ZC? Why not a B16A? Clearance issues would be the same but hp will be drastically different. Not too mention there are tons of compatiable parts for a B16 and they are dirt cheap. Looks killer tho.

Nice ..but I think maybe you should have that manifold jet-hot coated or something like that to clean it up.

Why b16 when you could go b18b/c/or ls/vtec? We all have our reasons for choosing what engine to start off with. For some of us financial constraints play a big role. Now if you have money coming out of your ***, you can buy anything you want, but people like me believe in budget setups that require deep thought and watching expenses. Can't exactly drop $3000 on a turbo kit all at one time.
