Some headgasket questions..
I purchased honda headgasket set for b18c series.. includes all kinda of stuff to replace in cylinder head, gaskets.. and mainly headgasket that i wanted,
now.. everything inside including headgasket is laying on carton sealed in plastic. but.. its kinda curved because of tension of the plastic..
also, headgasket layers don't seem to be pressed together, all 3 layers separate from each other. is that how its supposed to be?
looks like the shipping box was hit or something.. this is the first time i've seen honda headgasket.. so i don't know..

they held together by clips at certain points, i just thought all 3 layers would be compressed with no space in between

yeah it's fine. i remember being scared when I got mine, but everyone assured me it's normal.
as long as it's not ridiculously bent, it will seal when squashed in between the head/block. most HG's will come like that.
