some Boost Suspension Q's???
Okay, first off I have a 2000 civic si boosted with a custom kit, making 240ish whp @ 6.5psi. I'm running ground control coilovers with stock shocks.
-My question is, why is it that when i run my car hard.. shifting WOT at redline, instead of spinning tires, chirping, etc.. my car just feels like it hits hard and gets excessive wheel hop? , i would have thought the tires would spin, but is it my shitty suspension that is making it feel this way?. It feels like my car is going to snap in half, any input thats not a negative remark is appreciated, thanks in advance.

stock shocks prolly arent helping...you can also look into traction bars. my friends civic with comp. engineering bars had no wheel hop at all with close to 400whp...he also has full koni coilovers too.

trac bars will definately rid you of the wheel hop, perhaps your suspension height settings (of course along with the dampers) could be changed to minimise/eliminate Wheel hop, what is your F/R coilover settings ?

Have you checked out your motor mounts lately? they could be fatigued or cracked/ripped. While doing poly bushings in my car i noticed that the stock rubber bushings on the front lower control arm can and does have lateral movement (like when hard launching) adding to the wheel hop effect.
i'd recomend making your own polly motormounts to anyone. look it up on homemadeturbo.com works awsome!
