solving the overheating problems

Sometimes a bad tune (timing too retarded) can make the manifold heat up more than normal. my under-hood temps can change a noticeable amount depending on my idle tuning.
I think hyabusa hunter's post explains why some people seem to have cooling problems for no reason at all.
once you start screwing with hondas design these sorts of problems pop up out of nowhere..

My friend welded a bracket for the new intercooler location. Th eIC is about 6cm lower than it was before. I bought a new K&N arfilter and relacated it a bit. A heat shield is around the turbo housing now and on the intake pipe from filter to turbo inlet. I am still waiting on my bigger oil cooler

Mein Spezi hat mit eine Halterung fpr den LLK geschweißt, der nun 6cm weiter unten sitzt als vorher. Den Luftfilter hab ich bisl anders montiert und die Chargepipe + das Turboabgasgehäuse einbandagiert.
