When we started my car... the check engine light was on. I jumped the connector and it went off for a second and then came back on and stayed on? I dont have my manual anymore... is that a ECU code? The car runs fine but just need to make sure.

 

bump,having the same problem right now,is a solid light oxygen sensor?

 

I read in a post today, that it does mean your ecu is dead or chipped wrong. I had the same problem when I put a bad chip in my ECU, I cut the jumper and it came back to normal.
