Default so confused

ok, i was driving down the street and my traction bar hit one of those man whole sewage things, it was a hard hit. i started to leak a little coolant from the radiator and the car started to run horrible. it sounded like it was only running on 2 cylinders or something. i checked timing and its all fine, plugs are fine. there are no other leaks beside the coolant from the raditor. its a 1990 hatch, boosted b16. any help or input would be great.

Its really hard to say what it could be. When you hit the traction bar did the car immediately there after start running like **** or did it start to run like **** a few days later? Are you sure you didn't lose coolant and overheat causing your headgasket to go? Maybe its just a coinsidence that your car just started to run like pooh. I dunno some more details might help thats for sure.

i dont think anything did, the radiator broke at the very bottom, just a slight crack. i really dont want to do a headgasket if that isnt the problem, so any input on this would be great.

your compression numbers are bad, do a leakdown test see where the problem is.

I doubt its your headgasket, sounds like an ignition problem, hard hits and bangs cant often knock things loose.

I agree number on the test don't look good at all. Sounds like it could be a headgasket.Or something else if its making really bad noises especially stop driving it if u already havent and time to tear it apart hitting that did something bad . Even if u messed up ur radiator doesn't mean something else didn't happen at the same time.
