Default so cali. people...

have any of you installed a turbo yourself? is it hard, i've already read and looked at that overboost.com site...but i was wonderin' if anyone would be willin' to help me out when i get my turbo kit...or would it be better to have a professional do the install. if so where is a good place and how much would it cost to have them install it?

around here is mostly around 500-700 for installation, but it's pretty easy IMO, I did mine with arturbo and Dirpe972 in two days

I may not be living in the so. cali are as of this moment, but I'm definitely from that area. Just some words of advice KLN, confidence and time, and treat yourself with a 6-pack of Corona once you finish the installation. Take your time so it can be done right the first time, and everything should go smoothly. If you can lower your own car and have an extra pair of hands too help you, then you should be fine. Me and my friend banged it out in 2 days

well what kit are you getting? i've only done my own fmax kit and thats w/o the head gasket option. cant imagine the other kits being much different, save the fuel setup.
