Default Smoking Problems

Ok I have a 93 turbo teg, and its smokes like a steam powered train. When ever im hard on it, it wont smoke a puff but as soon as I let off or come to a rolling stop it just pours out smoke. When it idles it wont smoke till you sit there and rev it up, its almost like it just comes and goes. The smoke looks kinda whitish bluish but its not to dark(what color is fuel). This has been goin on for a while now and its driving me insane! When I bought it the car already had a turbonetics kit on it with a bigger turbo that lagged to 4000rpms. Well that turbo blew sky high and since I have bought a local t3, The car has always only ran 5 psi. I really have no idea how fmu's actually work but could it be mixing it to richly with the t3 turbo? I dont know I really need some help. Thanx

sounds like your engine or turbo is on its way out. also get rid of that fmu and get something that actually works....

check for kinks in your oil return line.

blueish smoke means oil. do a comp/leakdown test. could be your rings or you turbo. definitely should not be driving if you don't know how the fmu works. look into a good ems.

try comp test, leak down, see if anything damaged, check your oil lines, how big of a feed line u using? u using a restrictor? turbo seals might be blown

my oil return line is not really kinked it is maybe at such an angle as it goes the pan it is making the hose go flat instead of letting it flow i will put an elbow in it and see what happens there is no oil going through my charge pipe and there is no leaks that i can see i will do a comp leak down test and see what happens im just wondering if its the turbo cause i just replaced it or if its a seal in the motor thanks for the ideas keep them coming ill keep checking

well i cannot post pics at this moment till i get my camera back. i put a fitting into the return line it is a not kinked or nothing car still smokes at idle just a little but give it a little gas and it smokes bad and it is definetely a blue smoke and smells of oil but my oil doesnt seem to really disappear i dont want to drive it im afraid of hurting something but i think a seal somewhere has to be done for. i have no leaks my antifreeze is full it runs smooth my spark plugs are like a tan or light brown what does that mean just a little black on the edge but the middle is light brown. Could it be a turbo seal and just be going straight out my exhaust and not through my charge pipe? Maybe a valve seal or rings but the weird thing is it did not smoke at all until i took the other turbo off and put this one on but its hooked up all the same nothing different so im leaning towards the turbo but i dunno. let me know what u guys think.

thanks
