Default Smokin b16?

Just wondering if any of you guys with FI b16s have this problem:
I get a ridiculous amount of oil vapor and smoke out of my valve cover. I could fog mosquitos with this thing. I bought a Greddy catch can and plumbed it all in, but the stuff seems to blow right through.. Looks hella gay at stoplights... What do you think? Head gasket? Or maybe this is normal? Just another observation here too. I looked at the spark plugs today just for the heck of it. They are green.. Car runs pretty good though... Opinions? Thanks a million!

On another note - Any good tuners near North Dakota?

Are you sure it's the valve cover? I had smoke coming from under my hood and I was finally able to narrow it down to the fact that the heat from the turbo manifold destroyed the plastic stopper on the dipstick and little splatters of oil were spraying out onto the manifold and smoking. A $2 dipstick from the junkyard fixed the problem.

Just a though to check out. BTW it was a 93 d16z6 so the dipstick is right in the middle not sure if the b16 dipstick is off to the side or not.

if you're getting smoke out of your valve cover breather, chances are you;re getting a blow by...Not Good..., you could be losing compression. Start by doing a compression check and leakdown to pipoint the problem.

We did a leakdown test on the car right after we installed the kit and it held pressure ok. I had to hold the crank still with a breaker bar though. The compression test was wierd as hell, but after the leakdown test, we figured it was our screwup on the compression test. I know it isnt a melted dipstick, but I could see how that could happen heheh... I have been running the car on 7lbs since we installed it. The motor had 25K on it at the time of install. Now its up to a whopping 26k. It has smoked like that since we installed the kit. I will redo the comression test this weekend though and see what happens. Thanks!

By the way, I if it helps, before the catchcan it was squirting oil out of my breather filter like a supersoaker. And the kit is just a drag gen 3 kit... I still dont understand the green sparkplug electrodes either...

Thanks again and again and again...
