I got into my car in 3rd gear today and a friend was behind me and he said there was some greyish white smoke normally that would mean running lean but How could i be running lean with when the A/F gauge is peggin the last green light and on a volt meter the o2 is reading .98 strong, can someone please explain this???

No im not buring oil or loosing coolant my oil looks brand new every time i change it and has the same amount as when i filled it up. I checked compression and the numbers are excellent. I just cant figure this out for the world. and as for the A/F gauge being off i know they are shitty thats why i taped the wire for the O2 sensor at the ecu and had a friend hold a voltmeter on it at WOT to check the voltage and it was holding .98 volts strong witch is about ideal air fuel ratio.
