SMC500?

I just emailed ECG and they told me a SMC500 will be introduced in a week for 130-140. Do you guys know anything about the product and the difference between this and the SMC+???

instead of 1k adjustment on the smc+ the smc500 can adjust 500 rpm

so like the afc right? and i asked about the timing issue with the smc...the response is to manually retard the timing on the distributor. anybody have any experience with this?

yup confirmed from them this is what they said:
"The SMC500 hasn't been released yet, but will be this coming week. It will
have 500 rpm adjustability instead of the SMC+ 1000rpm adjustability."
