Default SMALLEST turbo for b18c?

Hi all,

I have a slightly different question. I'm interested in turbocharging but I despise turbo lag and n00b style blown up engines. I plan on building up the engine later but for reliability purposes, not running massive amounts of boost. This car is my daily driver. What is the smallest turbo out there? Right now I'm thinking Greddy. Thanks!

Shingo

14B off the DSM's is a nice cheap small turbo that should work ok.

first of all, what's a turbo lag ? never know what it is, never felt one of those.......the amount of lag in trade with the way your car will behave at 4000 rpm is not even a fair trade off...

second reliability is based on DRIVERS and YOUR RIGHT FOOT..the turbo and engine have nothing to do with it...

if you never boosted, then you stayed in vacuum, which is basically all motor STOCK...but can you not boost, hehehehe, I don;t think so..
so it's the drivers that control the way the car behave..I have seen a T3/4e turbocharged honda run for as long as 3-4 years, stock internals with no issues with reliability.....

and smaler turbo doesn;t guarantee more reliable than bigger one, it'll guarantee slowness for sure...
