Default slight overheating with greddy kit

whats the deal soon as I installed the kit I noticed the car running hotter not under load or boost.

I drove it real easy because tuning the car was a few days away

it fluctuates up and down getting high at times

I removed the kit everything back to stock and NO overheating at all

since the greddy manifold and turbo sit so close to the head/block the extra heat from them radiates to the block and heats it even more.. the stock cooling system isn't made to handle all the extra heat.. any splash sheilds under the car???? mine wouldn't over heat but after running down the highway for awhile the temp would be hotter than normal.. i removed the rubber at the front of the hood and at the back by the windsheild.. i also did the hood/washer trick ( not to be cool or what ever it is but i did it to help with dealing with the heat)...

Get your turbine/DP castings ceramic coated, or at least buy something like the 'black satin' ceramic coating for headers/turbos.

You should also look at your water pump. Its not uncommon for a civic's coolant system to be corroded to hell due to lack of maintainance. There's a picture floating around of a honda water pump with just a rusted nub for the pump wheel due to corrosion...
