Slick size...22" or 24.5"???
What size slicks should I be running? My setup is going to be a B18A with Eagle rods and Arias pistons (not sleeved), 550cc injectors, Hondata 3B. I'm hoping for around 300whp at 15-16psi. Would I have enough power for the 24.5s or should I go with 22s? How will my stock diff and DSS stage 1 axles hold up to the 24.5s?
Thanks
Thanks

Definetely the 22" talls. Ran a 9.72 with 22x9x13s, stock axles and diff and never broke a thing. The taller you go, the more you break.

I wanna run 22x8x14 slicks but I'm having a hard time finding someone who sells them in 22" only 26x8x14 or the skinny 20x8x14. I want to mount them on some Bogarts I have......but if someone doesn't make the 22x8x14, then I guess I'll just sell them and get some light 15x8 drag wheels. Anyone got some they wanna trade?

The Lenso's are a little narrow but I think they will work. You may have to play with the pressure to get a good footprint on the ground. Ideally, you should sell the Lenso and go to a wider wheel like a Bogart.

GEEZ!!! 5psi?
Did you find that the rolling resistance was excessive at that pressure?
lowest I've ever gone so far is 9psi

I couldn't hook up at even 7 lbs with my car. Take yours down .5 pound at a time until you see what works. At 5 3/4 lbs mine looked almost too dangerous to drive but the car goes straight at 140 mph. Finally went to a bigger turbo, 24 talls and a lighter flywheel and now runs @ 156 mph. I had to go to the taller tires because I was on the rev limiter way before the finish line in 4th gear and had to use 5th. With 24's I can drive it thru the lights in 4th.

I really don't like the 22s either, they give me too much gear, I like the 24s because they're closer to stock height.

9.5's..Ninesec is right if only because I taught him that. It's better to put more rubber on the ground with width than with height. Easier on the parts. Some times you have to do both.

i think 9s would be too wide. You have to remember that i have an NA car.
RIght now im on 22x9x13s. I was thinking somewhere in the area of 24x7-8

Yeah, I never used them yet. I bought them with 13 passes on them....1 full day event only...I know the guy I bought them from....Let me find out how much those 9's are first..hehe. They have a little indentation from they previous owner braking and the car being too low(the fender rubbed a little)
My cousin is gonna run the exact same size that I currently have on his del sol...his b16 made 198whp all motor last year. there a minor changes here and there, but nothing too drastic. He said that the 22x13 are too hard to find
EDIT: what would it take to fit the 9" tires under my car? I have a 2.5" unadjustable drop...I also ave the spacers that came with the bogarts...
you know, I never knew that the dragon-flys were a full face type deal, there is a backing plate that covers the open area of the rim(between the spokes)
