Default sleeved blocks

what are some good sleeves, I was told benson sleeves were good but IDK... planning on doing another build and I might want to get a sleeved block... ohh and and is there any down side to running a sleeved block due to this motor that I'm building is gonna be in my daily driver... shoots thanks

I personally love benson sleeves over GE but Im bias they both do the trick. GE or benson

Darton sleeves here with no problems thus far.

Dartons newer sleeves are phenomenal and they pretty much speak for themselves. GE are great sleeves as well. I think its comes down to personal preference and what works best for you. If GE is local to you by all means go GE you can't go wrong. If ERL is local don't hesitate to take your bottom end there. Just don't take it to any machine shop that thinks they can handle the job. If they aren't a well known machine shop and known for sleeving I personally wouldn't risk it.

i went with a benson block and i have no regrets. the only downside is the cost. benson has been around for a long time and has a strong reputation in the industry. you can do research on http://laskeyracing.com/shop/bseries.htm

Benson, GE, Darton, etc... all good companies with proven product.

ya, Benson uses sleeves manufactured by darton... But not the same as dartons proprietary sleevves
