Default Sleeve Options

Im looking to possibly sleeve my block but I don't have 1200 dollars to buy M.I.D sleeves to get installed because I still need pistons, rods, rings and to get the block machined. I see the open deck sleeves but I only see them for Nissan. Im looking for some sleeves that are a little cheaper in price but will also keep me well insured because Im only looking to push about 15lbs on a GT35r on an LS block for a DD nothing real serious, looking at 400+ for a daily driver. Not gonna race it too much so I don't need 600 dollar sleeves. Any ideas ppl cuz i've looked all over. Ebay, a few performance sites but nothing the help would be GREATLY appreciated thanks

no need for sleeves if your range is 400hp.

My car has 26,000 miles on it with power levels ranging for 4-500whp between 18 and 30lbs of boost and 9k rpm on stock sleeves. Opened it up this past winter just to check things out and it looks great still.

Cool....Well I just want this block to last me long enough for me to be able to build a completely built sleeved block so I can really make some power. It's just now I want the car done by the time I get my license back in May and want the car on the road. I was really worried about detonating but I have a good tuner so idk...Im just kinda lost here lol

Agreed. With a good tune you can make good reliable power. I woldnt go much over 400 though, you're just asking for trouble.
