Default Skunk2 IM on boosted LS?

I'm buying a DC header for dirt cheap and the guy is also offering me a 2 month old Skunk2 Pro Series Intake manifold for a B18B for only 75$ because he needs money bad. I'm wondering if this would be a good manifold for boost? I wont put it on until I go turbo. My WHP goal after boosted is around 300, so would this intake manifold be good for me? Ive heard the Skunk2 intake manifolds arent good for LS engines because they dont rev high enough to get the power out of them but is that still true when boosting? I will get it if you guys think it will help, otherwise I'll probably pass.

Yes it will make a difference but why did you waste money on a header if you're going boost?

Because I needed a header, I currently dont have one (not even a stock header). Also I'm getting the DC for dirt cheap and its only 6 months old. I'll use it for a while and sell it for probably double what I paid.

So the Skunk2 intake manifold is a pretty good thing for boost then? Ive always heard they suck for LS motors because the LS doesnt rev high enough, so does that change with boost? My motor will be completely stock when boosted. Only aftermarket parts would be the Skunk2 IM and a bigger throttlebody, internally it will be 100% stock.

$75 is a good deal and I would get it as an investment item only. If you are going boost I would sell it and use the profit to buy a Victor X.

$75.00 is a great deal. I run a Skunk2 intake manifold on my B18b. I might be making some changes and one of which is switching to an Edelbrock
