I keep hearing from different people on here that GE sleeves have a habit of sinking. Is this true? I'd like to see some pics of this. Is it a common occurance or not. If so how common? I have a block with their sleeves and this has been a concern for me lately. I'd like to speak with someone that had this happen to them also.

This guy had a big thread on his sleeves. I think GE cleared things up. If I remember correctly, it was his "builder's" fault and not GE's. It's 5 pages so you can read up on it. https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=337227

BTW, I haven't heard anything but great stuff about GE. So if you have a problem, you better have a substantial amount of proof to point the blame on these guys. They know their ****, and they're top notch.

It's a rare thing however, if it does happend GE will back up their work. I had a block that has a sinking sleeve, GE took care of it. I sent the block back to them and after reviewing the block, they fixed it.

Now, I don't want to see people blaming GE for thier FLAT TIRES.

As posted on TOO's website on 1-13-03:

"We here at Golden Eagle Mfg. have addressed these " problems " and have changed our mfg. process accordingly. Every block we send out now is PERFECT in everyway and will not cause any problems for the end consumer. We have a totally new way to deck the blocks and are very confident that they will be 100% everytime, I guarantee it!"
