Default Single Cam Crankcase Ventilation System

I have seen many posts on PCV setups on b series which have the two freeze plugs in he back of the block but im trying to figure out what us d16 guys are supposed to do? CAn i put something in the hole where the black box goes? waht i will probably end up doing is putting a hose barb in the black box where the actual pcv valve goes in and attatching that to the catch can and then finding my vaccum from there
