The cliff notes of the other thread is my headgasker blew after replacing there is now an odd metal hitting metal niose coming from the bottom end

after...up until I shut myh car off for the last time before I got it towed home it sounded fine....smoke like a bitch though ...made me sick on b-day...that sucked

If it starte making noise after the headgasket replacement...then something must have happend in the process....parts falling into the conbustion chamber,etc..
Now, you said you resurfaced the head...could it be that you took off some material and now your valves are hitting the pistons....thise are the only things I could think of off hand...

I personally didnt resuface it I had a shop do it, all they did was make sure the head was flat...I know that nothing fell into the chambers when I was reinstalling...
