Simple YES or NO question
yes, just remember that if your going to use the drain back feature the Tee has to be as close to the block as possible and the catch can must be mounted higher than the Tee (so it can drain).
sorry for the thread jack, but could give me an explanation of how the catch can setup would "preserve rings"??
I'm just trying to learn some stuff.. thx

Catch can helps to cut down on internal block pressure, allowing the rings to seal better to the cylinder walls. It also permits oil vapors to be seperated from the PCV/block emissions so they are not sent into the intake manifold, heating up the air, and lowering the effective octane of the fuel/intake charge.
is the endyne setup different than the traditional style catch can setup? i figure that it has to be b/c normally, the line that goes from the can to the intake arm(upper charge pipe) would get boost(air) blown back into it when boosting. am i correct in saying all of this?
The endyne setup evacuates the crankcase via the 2 plugs on the back of the block. The plugs are replaced with barberd fittings and when in boost, pressure is sent up two hoses to the catchcan, any oil collected in the can is drained through a bottom port back into the crankcase. alot of info on this can be obtained through the search function.
hrm.....very nice. i have seen a greddy catch can on a turbo'd car once though. it had the normal hose coming off of the pcv on the valve cover and then into the can. on the "output" side of the can, it had a breather filter. i thought this was kind of funny. all i could see it doing was to catch SOME oil and let the rest go out the breather filter like normal.

I'd hardly say I'm a genius, but I do spend a fair amount of time reading things on the internet, and have figured out how to filter out most all of the bullshit I see. I've also been building Honda motors (race and otherwise) for about 18 years now.
