Default Simple math. Boost + AWD = ?

PLUS

EQUALS
Hella fun AWD drift-style burnouts on the way to the welding shop, grocery store, ANYWHERE in this wonderful winter wonderland
Might be up in a week if I can get the brakes fixed by then(I HATE it when bleeder valves bust off BOTH the rear drums)
This should get me through till I can finish my Sol

Nice!! But can the transmission take that kind of power, I've heard the AWD transmissions are kind of weak?

ah, its just 5 psi, non IC'd. I think the realtime awd are a SOLID link, ie no clutches to slip or anything. Only gears makes it hella fun. The car itself might be lucky to make it through the winter. once it goes, gut the drivetrain, drop it in something else
The DP is tight, 2.5" I think Im just going to dump it out the side. I just did AC compatible because Ive only made a few, and I didnt make a Jig for them. SO, D series AC SSTs might be available in the future

LOL, I think you have entirely too much time on your hands Tinker. I'm glad you didn't get into genetic engineering, imagine 10' snails crawling all over your pad.

I dont have ANY time, thats the problem! If I had time, there wouldnt be ANY talk, only action, and freakish cars running around.
that manifold for example took over a week to build. Between collector cuts, or waiting for a materials shipment, or if I felt like welding after a shower at 9pm, whatever. Its still not done, I need to decide on WG placement.

If you notice in that pic, that tranny has a nice brand new ACT clutch in it. Can any one confirm if that pressure plate will work in the AWD tranny? How about in a regular cable tranny? It uses just a street disc, so the disk is fairly irrelavent in reguards to holding power. I wonder if the outter diameters are similar or not though....
I dont want my clutch slipping when all 4 wheels could break loose instead

I just want to say THANK YOU to Rob, aka, Revhardracing. He pretty much gave me this car, in exchange to be driver in a few "ice races" out on the big ponds around here.
I get to have ahella fun beater car now, and possibly break into the 7s in the 1/8 mile

if its just gears and no clutches, wouldnt it be considered 4WD? i thought AWD had the differentials that transfered power to the wheels that have traction.

I think its 4wd, not awd. But is fulltime.
im surprised not many people have looked into this for traction needs, the tranny is 6-speed too. 1 superlow gear, then the 1-5 speeds the superlow could be used for some killer 60 ft times
the turbo is a .63/.70 t3/60-1. Who cars when boost comes on if you have traction through the whole event

always been one of my dreams! I like those 4WD wagons...but I think it's an 80% front, 20% rear splt.
