si ls tranny difference????
hey guys,
have a tranny here that a local kid keeps blowing up
he bought a used one from sohfast and they ripped him good $1300
they sent him a 99si tranny that was jb welded were the previous dif pin had gone through the case
not only that but the stress from the (explosion) if you will, elongated the case were the diff bearing sits (oval hole instead of round)
anyway he finally got sohfast to send him a new bellhousing side of a case which was the half that was most affected
they sent an ls the diff is still an si
will the diff fit in that case????

Yes the LS and Si diffs are the same, check out Quaifes diffs and the diff is the same for LS and Si. i have a 2000 Si and a Quaife that I also used in my 91 Integra GS tranny. LS and Si same but GSR/ITR are different, GSR and ITR are same though. HTH!
