well my 2001 type R is amlsot done , only really need a good set of injectors now . on the stock internals im gonna tne it to 10 psi on the track and run it like 8 on the street, I have the hondata 4b to tune with, and prob next year i will do the bottom end up to be able to do big boost.
Viren suggested gong with e MSD or Delphi 72lb/hr injectors for my set up becuase they would be easy to tune with my hondata . . . . .
what all you guys think? I wanna order a set up tommorow. but remember this is still a daily driven car and needs to be able to have good tunability

 

I got a set of MSD 72lb/hr 750cc injectors, one of them got bent up and wasn't firing, I'll sell the 3 for $200+whipping, you can get an MSD injector for $80.39 from Summit. I bought some Accel 72lb/hrs from someone local so let me know. I was in a bind to get the car up for my dyno appointment if not I wouldve have replaced the injector.

 

but what im asking is for my set up would those injectors be too big or work fine? if not wehat size would be good to use.

 

Sorry depends on your power goal, anything over 350whp 550cc are getting too small then 720cc come into play, you can tune them with good idle quality with the Hondata mine idles like stock or as close to stock as you can get. I would go big because even if you say "OH I want 300whp now and that's all" You WILL want mo
re power later it's a never ending addiction. Aanswer is yes the injectors Viren suggested will work great and idle and should get you safely up to 500whp mine did. Have i answered your question or again a "Politicians Answer"?

 

hahaha, thanks man , yea i was planiignon close to 300 on like 8psi and obviosly more on 10 psi , i would love to see 40 or so by next year when the bottom gets done.

 

Whoah 40whp that's alot! 40? Haha! LOL! J/K Your goal is very feasible because off my waastgate spring 13.77psi we made 370whp and later at 25psi 500whp. So approx 12hp per pound of boost, I figure 70hp less is 300whp at 8psi but no telling unless it's actuall done. My tuner had a JDM GSR 10.6:1CR motor STOCK made 299whp with 9psi on a small T3/T4 54trim unfortunately a freak accident occured, the stock retainer let go while he was in the burnout box only 6k rpms and damaged his head block everything, valve went through the engine and you can see on a video his valve shooting into the burnout box. OH yeah tangents Your goals are achievable good tuning and set up, go big on the injectors cause the horsepower bug will BITE!
