Just recently finished my turbo build.
Car shuts off when hot, when I let it sit (its cooling down) it starts right back up until it hits a certain temperature and shuts off again.
Relocated my battery to the trunk
P28 with Hondata S300
GM 3 bar MAP
Anyone experience this or know why this is happening?
Update:
As it sat for 6 hours waiting for tow, the car wouldn't start anymore. No lights on #2 key position.

I'll check that...
Now been sitting for 3 hours and still won't start. There's no dash lights when I put the key on number 2 position, nor do I hear the fuel pump.

Where's the ground for the fuse box under the hood? One wire is on the engine harness, the other is straight to battery cable.

You had the same issue that when the car gets hot, it shuts off? It's grounded near the taillights with a nut and bolt.
I was thinkin of changing the whole key cylinder but it worked/works when the car cools down, except for tonight. So maybe.

Sounds like your chassis ground is flawed. Did you make sure to sand all the way through paint and primer at your connection? My battery is in the back as well on my CRX and I hooked my ground to where my spare tire tie-down would have screwed in. Works great!
Since your battery is in the trunk there should be an inline fuse before the fuse box.
Check for continuity from the positive side of the batt to the fuse box.
If you don't have a multi meter then your wasting time go buy one.

If you were cranking your motor a lot you were drawing a lot of current from your batt.
Your starter draws a lot of amps as is, add in your 6ft of battery cable and the fact your battery voltage dropped during this ill bet 100 bucks you blew your 80amp fuse in the fuse box.

Ground is good, made sure of it.
So still no lights on # 2 even when its been sitting. Checked all fuses under dash and under hood. Where is this 80 amp fuse you're talkin about?
I have a turbo timer installed, when I go from #2 to off, instrument lights turn on (i also hear the fuel pump) and the timer starts counting down. I then decided since there's instrument lights now I turn it all the way to crank and starts right up. The timer is still counting down. Once I put down the handbrake (this is a safety/security feature of all or most timers so noone can drive your car without putting the key on #2) everything shuts off as if I didn't put the key in to go drive.
I took the timer off and plugged back everything without the timer, still no lights.
So since #2 lights come on when the timer is engaged, it can't be the ground wire, there are no blown fuses, not the main relay either. Now what?
