it looks like you are having fuel problems. the lines get real jagged up top which usually means your detonating. and yeah, those pwer curves look real weird. it could be just the small turbo but i'd try raising the vtec crossover point.

that is a very nice dyno sheet.

earl, i was wondering if you ever tried running your car with a ls tranny and a gsr tranny for a comparison to see which netted better times.

btw, very nice setup.

Awesome!! But have you thought about turbo? Mike Murillo, Dan millen, and not chip haveman have changed from the super charger to turbo. Chip haveman will be racing in the Outlaw class this year. But at the same time you have Doug Mangrum with the SC'd unibody running over 200mph!!!!

Freud, if you look at the lower left corner of my dyno chart, you will see S=1. This means the chart shows every little bump in the power curve. Most Dyno Jet charts I see posted say S=4. That gives you neat smooth lines that look like you are a great tuner. The bumps can be detonation but can also be tire slippage or just the dfi walking up the fuel curve. No signs of detonation yet.
At what rpm do you think the VTEC cross over should be set? Is that the problem you see with my chart or does something else look funny?

Art..Are you with Viren's car? If so, we raced you in the first round at the NHRA race at Pomona. That weekend was the hottest I've ever been in my life.Maybe you are acclimated to that in Texas?

Hehe, now that I know who you are, I guess I better take that brilliant caption off. It must suck to tow that far, qualify great and then break something in the first round.

No joke that freaking heat was unbearable. Damn it was hot. Then the stupid tree didnt work in the first round and all kinds of screwups that day.

But its all good thoguh. It was the best track i ever raced at though. Traction was superb compared to the other events i went to.

Talk about stupid...I ate a pepperoni pizza from the snack bar on Sat. and it dehydrated me worse than the heat. I drank so much water that I almost drowned myself and was still dying of thurst. That was our first time out with our CRX and didn't realize at the time how good the bite was.
