Should I be ok?
So I'm gonna run 6 lbs of boost on my stock d16y5, of course ill do an obd1 conversion and do a chipped p28, but will i be fine with the stock 240cc injectors? Inputs please!
my buddys got a set of 300cc injectors, would i be better off with those instead of the 240cc? or are they still too small?
I wouldn't boost 1 pound on 240CC Injectors. I wouldn't boost on 300CC either. That would be a really high duty cycle. What happens when you run a high duty cycle? Well, lets say the Injector for a split second can't meet the 99% demand you are asking it to do, it will cause your engine to run lean, etc, etc, then bad engine.
I had a pair for 450CC Injectors on my B16, when I found out that at 300WHP they would be 95-98% Duty Cycle, I sold them for 880CC. I will always run a larger injector that what is needed to be safe.

Atleast go with 440cc injectors, as stated above, you don't want to be maxxing out your injectors. To be quite honest, if I were in your position, I would up it to atleast some 550's, just so I had room to upgrade down the road.
But don't let my previous statement fool you, bigger doesn't always mean better. You don't want to over compensate on injector size because if your ECU tries to lean out a rich mixture, and in doing so selects a pulse that is shorter than the injectors minimum dynamic flow range, the injector is no longer consistant to supply the correct amount of fuel.. In which case, you'll actually be losing power / performance, rather than gaining.
