Should I have problems boosting 20psi on a 9lb deltagate spring with electronic boost controller

I just set my boost controller to 20psi but the car will only reach about 16psi. could it be the b/controller, or do I need a stiffer spring?

To me, the deltagate seems like the obvious problem...i'd snag a Tial if possible and try that

Generally, would a boost controller be able to rase it that high without getting a stiffer spring

Try a higher psi spring.

I think I pull vac lines from the waste gate ( full boost ) and drive while watching the boost gauge to see how far it goes.
