I was running dual springs and titanium ret. on my LS. Worked fine for me. I abused that motor everyday, my step-child. I ran Crower 404s when non-boosted. Stock cams when boosted.

im going to use the Skunk2 springs and retainers. i am however going to use the Crower turbo grind. We have had a huge success with it. Im worried about the chance of it breaking but i feel a little easier since i havent heard any problems as of late.

I recommend Crower! I have the Eibach springs, Crower retainers, and Crower Stage 2T Cams with cam gears. The install height with the new Valves, retainers, and springs, was higher than stock. I had to grind down my rocker assembly a little bit with my dremel. I wouldn't worry too much about problems that others have had. Just make sure you pay attention to the rockers, and you will be ok.

I'm running Crower springs and retainers, they work just fine for me all the way to 8000 RPM. Though i'm running that on an LS head.
