Hey, I'm just looking for some input as to whether I should buy this integra or not. I've been lurking around here for a while trying to learn and read as much as I can. It's not time for me to actually buy the car I'm looking for. I've found a 95 SE without and engine for $3500. I haven't seen the car yet but I've been told its in top condition. Can anyone give me any ideas about buying and what to look for?

From a FI aspect, I'm looking to make 350whp. It's a huge goal and may not be achieveable right off hand but I am looking to this idea. Before the only engine I considered was the b18b. Now it appears that I could have the option of a b18c. What would you recomend with my high goal of 350whp? This car will be daily driven and I'd probably be happy to have ~300whp but reliable. If you guys can give me a few mins to share your thoughts I'd really appreciate it. I'm considering going ahead and buying a built block (ie GE sleeved, JE pistons, crower rods).

350 whp is possiable with a b18b, but it is more easily reached with a b18c i would do a seach and see what kinda dyno numbers people are putting out with what engine/set-up. in the long run all it comes down to is money.

 

I agree it would probably be best to go after the b18c. Thanks for the input. Still trying to decide if this is the route I should go. BTW- creative nick

New information. The car is in great shape. No ricey mods, stock suspension and exhaust. The engine was blown which makes me wonder...Could it have been someone just running it for all its worth? Nitrous? The engine is already out and gone which makes me wonder if there could be anything else missing. What should I look for when considering a swap?
