Default Is shaft play normal?

I just recieved my SC61 and it has about 1MM of shaft play. Maybe less. So Im wondering how bad could this be and is some shaft play normal? There is absolutley no in and out shaft play.

its normal for journal type turbos to have some shaft play side to side when there is no oil in them, it stiffens up when its full of oil- but in out shaft play is no good...

I think any type of shaft play on a BB turbo is not a good sign

im not sure which type the SC61 is i think its journal? dont quote me

That oil thing makes me feel a little better but I called turbocity.com and they said that shaft play is normal because if there is not your turbo will burn up . Supposably.

if your really worried stick it on and run the car for like 10 min- then try and wiggle the shaft should tighten up signifacntly-

I remember when i took my t3/t4 out and the oil was all out there was very very slight shaftplay, i was worried but as soon as it got filled with oil it was solid.
