Default setting up the AVC-R

to make sure I wouldn't overboost i set the boost to .2 bar and set the duty to 20% but when I make a run I boost over 7psi. Isn't .2 bar supposed to be like 4 lbs? Whats going on?

Also whats the gear settings for the GSR?

edit: oh also where should i splice the little paper filter?

The lowest boost you'll hit is whatever your WG spring is rated at. If you have a 7psi spring then you can't go any lower... just higher.

I bought my AVC-R used and it didn't come with that filter. When I installed a Profec-B on a friends car, it went between the boost source line and the pressure sensor on the Profec unit. For the AVC-R, I have 2 guesses, between the boost source line and the solenoid, or the boost source line and the pressure sensor.

yipes, forgot aobut the gear judge..

You have to drive to determine those settings. If I remember right, if you are going to set the gear judge in first drive in first gear and look at the N/S data on the right side... then set the 1st gear to that number... same with 2-5.

piece of cake

no, gear learning is just the O O O O O, gear judge is the actual # you put in for each gear....just bring someone w/ you, haul *** down the road, and remember the # right before you shift into the next gear...and repeat steps...have fun the AVCR rocks
