Default setting pistons rign end gap

the wiseco piston ring i have say .004" per 1" or bore, so i fiugre with an 89mm bore, it's about 3.5" then it's .014", except for "some" applications, which means it needs a little more gap.... what would be a good ring end gap for me, like .016-.018?
