Set-up complete (top mount) 700+ whp
Here are some pictures I took last week but haven't had time to post 'em. Some of the pictures are taken from my cell phone.
Turbo size = unknown (so don't ask..lol)
1600cc injectors
AEM EMS
GSR
JE 81.5mm
9:1 CR
Eagle rods (yes I know)
Bosch fuel pump with all new lines and pick-up.
Custom SS turbo mani (everything made inhouse from the flanges to the collectors, even the flanges are SS)
4" ss downpipe
HKS wastgate (this sh*t is huge)
Stock GSR head no porting with skunk springs. retainers, and cam gears.
I am still deciding on which cams to go with so if anyone has any info on good turbo cams please let me know.
The inlet has to be changed cause it is choking the turbo, it's too close to the head light and so now I have a strong mesh grill on there.
Oh and the WHP goal is 700+ if posible.
Thanks
Rahim

Re: (00bluslut)
has anyone used the full-race turbo cams yet? I would love to see what they would make in my set-up. Currently running GSR cams

Re: (Turbocivic94)
Nice setup.. IMO the sensor for the temp gauge should be in the side of the head.. If your thermostat gets stuck closed you wont know by looking at your gauge.

Very nice setup. This is what I was told but don't take my word for it.......I was told to keep my stock cams (gsr) if I was going turbo because the type-r cams are more for bottom end power and turbo cams have different lifts and durs and they won't make vtec kick in as hard. A guy I know was running skunk stg2 cams, 12.5:1 je, and 9psi, 12:1 fmu and it ran great for 7months then the #1 piston shattered and went up and made friends with the head. But your setup is way different that that.

Thanks
I have golden eagle sleeves for a little over 2 years now.
The manifold was custom made for my car.
Piping was made by the same shop that made the manifold.
The motor was balanced and blue printed then assembled at Nathenials performance here in Houston, they usually deal with high horse power domestics and are now getting into imports.
Oh and WillieB it's been proven time and time again that CTR cams will make more power than the GSR cams in both apps. all-motor or boosted. But I am just trying to get something even more aggressive for more power all the way thru.
But from what I have come across it seems like CTR willl be the best bet.
Thanks
Rahim

that's only true of the ITR cams in 98-back...the 00-01 are identical to CTR

I was going to ask how well that pipe works out but read that it sucked so you went to a screen, ever think of building an airbox kind of thing for it? I have the same clearance issues and figured ehh forget that filter.
