Well I was working on my car today and I was pluggin in all the sensors when I ran into these 3 connectors. All the same BTW, but tryin to make sure what each one is.




1st Plug
2 wire = "red/yellow" "Green/black" I think this is the IAT Sensor

2nd Plug
1 wire = "red/blue" I think this is the knock sensor

3rd Plug
2 wire = "solid green" "solid red" I think this is the coolent temp sensor.

I of these I'm sure plugs into the knock sensor "Which I don't have BTW. I was told since I am using hondata I won't need it"

BTW, I thought that the IAT was on the charge pipe and not on the manifold. Did some years have it there and then they changed it? Or am I just stupid lol.

one is IAT, the other is either for the IAC or the purge valve on the firewall.

 

 

96-99 Civic & 98-00 Integra ETM:

ECT = Red/Wht & Grn/Blk
IAT = Red/Yel & Grn/Blk
KS = Red/Blu

And the IACV is usually Yel/Blk & Blk/Blu (assuming 2-wire style).

Didn't see a Red & Green combo though.

 

I thought that the IAT was on the intake? Did they change it on some years?

 

The only thing that really confuses me is that I thought I was missin my IAT sensor because I thought it went on the charge pipe. So I ordered the sensor pictured here.

Then when I was pluggin everything in I found one on the back of the intake manifold. So what's going on here? Which one do I use lol. Or are they 2 different sensors. I'm just tripping lol.
