in search of some guidance/help
Hey guys, I'm new to the honda scene recently. My previous cars have all been German so i need some help.
Before people tell me to search, i have been searching for days and have a decent list going but need honda guru guidance.
I picked up a super clean '95 hatch with a d16z6 that runs great (will post pics soon) but anyway compared to all my other cars this is SLOOW!
My goal is 400+(reliably) on the d16z6 and i need some help on parts.
I had decided on endyn roller wave pistons but they don't sell them without buying one of their blocks or heads so now i don't know what ones
I have read that, for my goals i want to be in the 9.5-10.5:1 CR
what brand of pistons/rods does everyone recommend?
i have decided on supertech valves, with tapered bronze guides
880cc injectors
skunk2 intake mani
skunk2 cam
cometic head gasket
arp studs
id like to run a precision 6152 turbo
still undecided on Ecu
from everywhere i have read with these (main) parts my goal of 400+ is realistic
If any of you have helpful advice Please chime in.
Much appreciated

Re: in search of some guidance/help
Is this going to be your build thread or is this purely a guidance request for your boosted build?
You can actually create a new thread for a build thread later once you have pictures etc.
Nevemind, going to move this to forced induction so that you may get a better response. When you are ready to do your build thread with pictures, feel free to create it in the 92-00 civic tech forum.

Reliable 400+ on a Z6? Do you have a realistic idea of what 400 feels like in a car that weighs a hair over one ton, or is that just an arbitrary "That's what car X has, so that's what I want" number? What research have you done that says you want such a dinky CR? 10:1, BARE minimum.

Re: in search of some guidance/help
The 6152 is overkill for 400whp. I would find something smaller...a T3/T04e 50 trim will make 400whp, but have a much broader powerband. Is there some reason you decided on the PTE 6152 specifically??
