Default school this turbo no0b *injectors*

well guys, it's about time i order my fuel injectors, i have a 2000 civic si with a custom maxrev turbo, also have hondata s200b, p28ecu and obd2-1 adapter, i'm going to be boosting about 7 psi to begin with, and move up to 12-15 psi later on, so im thinking of getting rc 440's, but maybe i should go with 550's?, also which type of clips do i need?, obd2 since my car is obd2 or obd1 since the hondata? thanks for teaching this no0b..

I would say go with 550's. You need obd1 injector clips

Im looking to order some injectors for my turbo setup too.
What type of RC injectors should we/he use and do we need and do we need a resistor box?

yeah i was thinking 550's too, anyhow.. obd1 clips?.. you sure?.. that im not too positive about, anyhow, RC engineering has 440 and 550 saturated injectors, you do not need a resisterbox, just the clips

most aftermarket injectors are obd0 or obd1 so yes you will need clips. As for as the resistor box, I only know about preludes since that's what i have. My prelude has a resistor box already so i didn't need one. I believe you do need one running 550 PnH injectors.

hm, yes i know i need clips, but which ones do i need?, i have an obd2 vehicle with an obd1 ecu/hondata, im just confused about that. anyhow, so you are saying that i need a resister box in order to run 550's on my car?.. hm.. well anyone wanna help me out?.. in what range of horsepower do the 440's become inadequate? and how about 550's?, sorry guys, i searched and searched, but i could not find a specific answer to all my questions, so hopefully you guys can help me out some, thanks

My tuner told me that 270whp is max (on my car) with dsm 450cc's. But she was able to squeeze out 290+whp. I will be getting 550cc's soon

There are two types of injectors... Saturated and Peak and Hold... Some OBD 1 and all OBD 2 Honda's come factory with Saturated injectors... When you buy new ones, Peak and Hold are much cheaper once you get into high cc's... So you need a resistor box from any 88-91 CRX Si to run the Peak and Hold injectors, or buy 550cc Saturated... You only need the resistor box if you go above 440cc's I believe... HTH...

You'll need the OBD 1 clips, and a resistor box if you run above 440cc's...

of course they are...that stupid rumor about DSM's not working with Hondata is BS...I think it just a tuning issue...but if you're gonna get 550cc's then I will put my 450cc's up somewhere else...

thanks bro...what does saturated actually mean? so if went with the 550cc Saturated injectors then I would need a resistor box?
