Default SC61 respool, who has problems

Either in .63 or .82 T3 flange. I'll be running minimum of 20psi daily maybe more and over 30 on race gas... Who has respool issues with this turbo, i had a 35r and didn't have any and i only reved to 7800-8000rpm... But i detroyed my 35r cause my exhaust valve broke. Im not worried about spool that much just the respool between shifts

RIP-35r lol

not trying to be a smart ***, but wouldnt you be able to just buy a new turbine wheel for your 35r?

no if it was the comp wheel then yes but for the turbine you need the whole CHRA and it is 900 bucks... Plus i sold it for 200 bucks so i dont have it anymore.

f@#K a GT35R SC61 ftw I never had any problem with mine, quick spool even in 5th gear at low speeds, forget the GT hype get the sc61, not that I have experience with the GT's but I dont think its worth the money compare to the sc61

first and 2nd gear you wont hit full boost. at least i dont unless you 3step it off the line or have longer gearing then a b16 tranny. once you get it spooled up you wont have problems getting it back to max boost on your next gear.

Are you going to be using any type of full throttle shift setup like what is available on most hondata, neptune etc.?

Either way, so long as you are using no larger than a 38mm wastegate with a dumptube REspool will be great with the SC61. Unless of course you are shifting below 7000 rpm.

between shifts, on my 35e, it would slowly build boost back to 1.5 bar, like the gauge slowly moves.. im looking for something a lil quicker then that, hopefully my 35r will do so, with the 35e it was like vac . . . . . . . . 1.0 . . 1.5
with the 35r im hoping it will be like vac. . . . 1 . 1.5

well its not going to come back on boost as snappy as your 35r was but it should be pretty good if you shift pretty quick.

what? if he's not at full boost then the wastegate will be closed no matter what size it is or where the outlet goes.

are you launching it or just taking it easy off the line then go?

if i launch it sure i can get full boost easily

it could be my sc61 too. its not in the greatest shape. theres some shaftplay on it
