The most correct information in this thread.

Let me add something too. I spoke to a Garrett employee who is on HT. He told me that there is alot of misinformation on this site and this tread is proof. I wish you would post Brian.

art</TD></TR></TABLE>

I hope he posts too. It would be nice to have a real garrett athority on h-t, someone who actually works for garrett

I have agree that there is alot of misinformation around about the new turbos. i scan probably 3-4 different web boards a day lookign for posts about this stuff so i can keep peopel straight!</TD></TR></TABLE>

oh yeh, I forgot about that combination... I still have your dyno vid on my comp.

I guess if you think about it there is no dead on map for a standard SC61. (since the compressor map for the wheel it uses is set up for the .70ar housing) But still, your best bet is to go by the .70ar map, compressor maps don't tell the whole story anyways.. It will get you close enough.</TD></TR></TABLE>

Correct, truly the point that should be learned here. But notice, no turbine map to match.

Recently there have been some specific SC61 maps available. I'll see if I can be able to post it up one day.

sc61 will work on all sorts of stuff... from big motors with 30psi to small ones with 8psi.

just know you will have to rev it to keep it in boost. compressor maps dont really show the whole story, i have found you are much more likley to run the turbine out of efficency long before the compressor.
