also that one pic looks like it has a 4-bolt exhaust housing, i thought all the precisions used the 5-bolt.

you can get the 4 bolt housing but since precision doesnt make it they use garrett's

I was told by pheonixturbo.com that the SC61 is their"blowzilla" turbo and that the precision sc61 is all garett but the casting has their name on it. Just what I was told. Good luck

see there are some #'s engraved in where the outlet is on the compressor , what do they say ??? and my SC61 has the same 4 bolt housing because precision did not start casting there own 4 bolts at the time that one was built, also a SC61 has a gt35 exhaust wheel and a 61mm intake side , good combo

That's why I gave a when someone said SC61's were made by Precision and not Garrett. I guess I thought it was common knowledge that Precision turbos are just souped up Garrett turbos.

All Pecision turbo's ARE Garrett turbo's. Precision just has their own turbine housing castings.....which are'nt any different that the garrett housings. I had the T351 (garrett 4 bolt outlet) housing SC61 and it looked exactly like that. If you really want to know if its an SC61 you will need to measure the wheels....housings dont really matter.

And Precision for the most part uses their 5-bolt housing.
