SC34??

Default SC34??

does this look like a SC34. local guy selling this. just want to make sure. wouldn't it say "Precision" on the exhaust/turbine housing?

need more pics, it shoud at least say precision on the exhaust housing. the inlet looks kind of small, but i could be wrong.

only pic he has... I guess I'll find out tomorrow.

so "Precision" on the exhaust housing should be a dead giveaway?

looks like one from that pic but then again it doesnt show much. mine says precision on the exhaust housing.

Mine also has precision on the exhaust housing. Another thing to check is see if there is anything etched on the compressor outlet. Mine had 3427E etched into the housing, where the coupler/clamp is in the pic you posted.

yeah, remove that coupler and make sure there is itching there. it's like engraved and looks like it was written with a nail. lol it's swiggly font.

Here is a pic of my SC34 with .63a/r on the hot side (can't be seen, just wanted to list the specs)



Sorry I do not have a shot of the turbine side, but it is CLEARLY stamped "Precision."

pull off the blue rubber hose on the comp. outlet..there should be scribing under it.....just post what the scribing says . . then we will tell you what turbo it is!

Buying Used turbos is a bad idea...especially used turbos that have a buncha oil in the outlet of the compressor, and that didn't get a filter run on it.

Nothing an oil seal or new backing plate normally couldn't fix. But yes, def check for engravings on the housing. They are all marked.

I was told mine was a S34, when I checked it, the turbo was actually a SC44.. I guess good thing for me.
